Hijab

At present in the streets of our cities, in offices, on TV and in another public places you can meet ladies wearing hijabs, who settled down on a course of Islam and they started to cognize this precious world – world of righteous life. But alongside with that it is not a secret that questions related to wearing hijab make certain problems. What is the subject of these debatable flames? And we are not going suggest about restriction of rights and freedom of women. Since firm decision of a woman to wear hijab is an expression of freedom, this tells of the woman’s internal strength. Shawl cannot be a challenge for surrounding people.

Shawl is indispensable and naturally occurring part of your positive humane essence, as far as clothing reflects our inner world, expressing our thoughts and our sole condition.

The word “hijab” sounds beautifully and enigmatic and we frequently use this word in our speech in order to indicate the Muslim woman’s style of clothing, but let’s try to enter into the deepness of its content. Indeed the concept of the word “hijab” is not unique in its essence, and has much deeper meaning…

“Hijab” means “partition, barrier”, between singularity of a woman, beauty of her body, her inner world, soul, feelings, thoughts and external world. This is veil of decency, modesty and chastity of thoughts. It includes two aspects. Outside Hijab – Muslim woman’s appearance, her style of clothing and inside hijab – her inner world, life position and manners.

Muslim woman’s clothing should be considered as embodiment of her ethic and intellectual values and her life morals. “And say to believing women that they must throw their eyes to the alow and keep their modesty, and that they must not show their beauty and adornments except when it may be seen decently…31” (Holy Koran 24:30-31) I see it fits to quote the words of an Iman Valeriya Porokhova, a Russian noblewoman, who with Allah’s mercy translated Koran into Russian language. “Pay attention that, women are portrayed in hijabs on orthodox icons, it means with covered parts of the body, as it is accepted in Islam. This says that old Christianity followed the same rules”.

Is a contemporary woman of fashion liberated from oppression of different types? It is common knowledge that a woman’s body is the tool of advertisement. How can we speak about freedom, if a woman does not have any chance to go along the street without intent look estimating her from top to heel?

Apparently all the correct, including the culture of wearing hijab, needs to be treated gradually and rationally. Choice of clothing immensely depends on every woman’s inpiduality, her consciousness, confession of faith. Covering body, hair, neck and arms till hands are the minimum of all objects solved by hijab. According to Islam rules clothes should be loose enough to keep body contours closed. Form fitting, fit close clothes, accentuating body forms are also unacceptable.

Some people think that wearing hijab prevents women from working. A lot of them concern themselves with the question: “Can you be a lawyer, administrator, doctor, and journalist or somebody else, when you are wearing – “long fluttered clothes”?” This opinion is fundamentally wrong. Having worn hijab a woman can look as a business woman and be professional of her work. Long dresses and skirts were never censured by anyone. This means that your objective is solved by half.

By this means having made minor efforts, you can look businesslike enough to undertake any task and herewith not to sacrifice Islam rules! A woman in hijab, as bearer of belief, must impersonate such positive flash so that people would turn round their heads with respect. Ability to cover head gracefully, in modern manner and fashionably, believe me, gives the woman a certain charm and inspires respect. Believing women, with their style of clothing unobtrusively reminds surround people that she must be treated with special honor: “Respect me! I believe in God and I fear of making Him furious”. Therefore, Muslim-woman carries out her honorary mission on the Earth – irradiates light, kindness, tenderness, calm and appeasement.

Swimsuit for Muslim women
(Newser) – A Muslim woman has been banned from a French public pool for wearing a head-to-toe "burkini" swimsuit, the BBC reports. The woman, who had purchased the suit in Dubai, called the ruling "segregation." Officials cited hygiene rules that prevent swimming clothed, and said it was not because of religious discrimination or the country's efforts to ban the burka. "That type of suit does not exist in the Koran," explained the town's mayor.
